Expertise

I am an enthusiastic aerospace engineering graduate with over nine years of experience in aeronautical education. Currently, I serve as an Engineering Lecturer at Blackpool & the Fylde College, where I design teaching materials, assignment briefs and prepare exam questions for students and apprentices up to Level 6, in accordance with Lancaster University and employers' standards. I have been recognized among the top engineering lecturers for outstanding performance. Recently, I have been appointed as Standard Verifier (SV) and International Standard Verifier (ISV) and by BTEC Pearson, UK.

Alongside my teaching responsibilities, I have recently completed my PhD degree with sheer brilliance at the University of Greater Manchester, and the research focuses on natural fiber–based composites for next-generation aerospace and automotive applications. During my doctoral research, I successfully developed novel bio-composites and published eight research articles—an outstanding achievement, as completing a Ph.D. within three years with such a strong publication record is rare in the university’s recent history. In addition, I previously worked as a Mechanical Engineering Lecturer (variable hours), where I was responsible for developing course content and assessments tailored to departmental requirements. On top of that, recently, I have started working as an academic board member of journal ‘Global Open Share Publishing’, 'Green Technologies and Sustainability', 'Cleaner and Circular Bioeconomy' and 'Total Environment Microbiology.'

Previously, I taught Level 2 and Level 3 Aeronautical Engineering at Preston College across BTEC Pearson, City & Guilds and EAL programs. My adaptive teaching methods significantly improved student performance and subject comprehension. I was selected as an impactful engineering lecturer for my remarkable contribution in preparing learners for the future. At Cambrian International College of Aviation, I held dual roles as Lecturer and Internal Quality Assurance (IQA) Nominee. I taught and assessed students at National Diploma (Level 3) and Higher National (Level 5) levels, led BTEC Pearson curriculum development, and ensured staff met awarding body’s standards through training and standardization. One of my students received the ‘BTEC Engineering Learner of the Year 2021’ Bronze Award, and I was honored as ‘Best Lecturer’ in 2022. Earlier, at the United College of Aviation, Science & Management, I taught BTEC Pearson courses and contributed to research in material engineering and structural mechanics.

Overall, I am a dedicated team player with strong communication and organizational skills, I thrive under pressure and consistently meet deadlines. My research in sustainable materials aligns with my career goals and supports innovation in sustainable engineering.
