Expertise

My research focuses on patient and public involvement (PPI), service user and carer engagement, and the integration of lived experience in health and social care professional education and practice. I explore how co-production and person-centred approaches can improve the quality, equity, and impact of health and social care delivery.

I am particularly interested in public health promotion and education, service evaluation, and the development of frameworks and toolkits that translate lived experience into actionable insights for care practice and delivery, workforce development and policy improvement.

My research sits at the intersection of education, practice, and participation, advancing inclusive and evidence-informed models of care that prioritises empowerment, collaboration, and meaningful involvement across diverse communities.
