Expertise
My research focuses on sustainable energy, climate resilience and environmental management, with particular emphasis on renewable energy deployment, offshore wind, green hydrogen, circular economy, waste management and low-carbon urban development. I examine how technological, economic, environmental and institutional factors influence the transition towards net-zero and more resilient societies. My work applies mixed-methods approaches, including statistical modelling, spatial analysis, multi-criteria decision-making, stakeholder interviews and policy evaluation. I also investigate the use of artificial intelligence and smart technologies to support sustainable cities, resource efficiency and evidence-based decision-making. Much of my research addresses practical challenges in the UK, the Middle East and emerging economies, aiming to produce frameworks and recommendations that support governments, industries and communities in achieving the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals
