Abstract
This research aims to explore the use of Building Information Modelling (BIM) in the construction industry to streamline project delivery and examines the situation on the UK scale. This research incorporates quantitative research design with to determine the adoption, issues, and gains of BIM using the correlation and regression techniques (R-square = 0.649, F = 44.091). There are major observations regarding the positive and sound implications of the adoption and integration of BIM services and concepts with regard to the performance of enhancements in terms of efficiency and quality of project performances despite challenges that exist such as interoperability and skills shortage, which is attributed to these BIM systems. The research suggests how to improve BIM implementation, giving practical insights to stakeholders, and outlining future longitudinal and scenario-based studies.
