Abstract
The banking industry’s implementation of cloud computing technology has led to substantial involvements regarding the security and confidentiality of financial information. This is necessary in Bangladesh based Islamic banking, where business compliance requires robust security measures to safeguard customer data and operations. The purpose of this research is to develop a cloud security framework specifically designed to meet the requirements of the Islamic banking industry in Bangladesh. The research aim is divided into three stages: applicable investigation, analysis of the findings, and the development of a security framework. The investigation stage identifies potential security risks and challenges that the Islamic banking industry in Bangladesh face when migrating to cloud computing. The investigation includes review of existing literature, specialist audit, and survey of Islamic banking experts to obtain an extensive understanding of the subject. The researcher’s collected data analysed the critical security requirements and gaps that exist in the current security practices of Islamic banks. Based on completion of the research objectives, a cloud computing security framework will be developed for the Islamic banking industry in Bangladesh, which includes policies and procedures to protect banking resources stored in the cloud. The framework will be designed to ensure compliance with Shariah guidelines and global standards. It includes technical measures and administrative procedures to mitigate risks and enhance banking security. The research additionally investigates the feasibility, effectiveness, and practicality of the proposed framework. The literature review pointed to the fact that the planned framework will be effective in handling the security challenges of cloud computing in Bangladesh based Islamic banks. The framework provides guidelines that help Islamic banks guarantee overall security and improve customer trust. Concluding results of this investigation will contribute to the development of a more precise and comprehensive cloud security framework for the Islamic banking industry in Bangladesh.
